Bartman wasn't the reason for the Cubs loss.
the Cubs sucking were the reason for the loss. Maybe the way he was treated by Cubs fans after the game is karma.

I don't think anyone really seriously blames him now. It was just in the shadow of the loss everyone wanted a (pardon the pun) scapegoat. I read an article
a few weeks ago about Steve Bartman and how most Cubs fans are over it and don't really blame him, etc., etc., etc.
It's just being reminded of the whole incident brings up reminders that we just can't manage to get it done. |
