Happy Supernatural Day! I can't wait for this episode tonight! I hope they give Sammy more to do. Can we say a prayer that my tape actually tapes the entire episode without skipping? I have my writer's group today, and I really want this one taped.

Thanks for the prayer, Nikki! The chapters were already written, but they are up for discussion tonight. They are very pivotal to the book, so I'm scared
of what my group will think. Thanks to this post and my writing the recap, I just forgot to be nervous about them being up for discussion.
I haven't
had time to read any of the other stories, though.  I hope I'll get them done before group though.
Oh, if anyone cares, I have written a recap for last week's episode and I'll post it as soon as I get home. I was out of town last weekend, so I didn't even start it until I got home. There about 9,000 words because I'm a wordy mofo, so it takes awhile to finish them. |

I thought it was good..I am glad we finally saw some interaction b/w Sam and the angels...and Sam's face when Uriel was being mean to him at the end..it
was so cute.
I found it interesting that they were testing Dean..I guess they need to know that if push comes to shove Dean won't think about consequences (perhaps like having to kill Sam) and he'll just do it? I can't wait for the ep where we find out what it was like in hell for him...and find out what Sam was doing the whole time. Should be interesting. |

You guys thought it was okay? I flippin' loved it. Granted, if you're going to call it a "slaughterhouse" than you might one to kill more
than one person, but I really loved it. It was great to see Sam's ability to fight on his own, and meeting the angels was hilarious. I think they focused
on Jessica's death as a mere afterthought, so I wish they brought that in a tiny bit more, but whatever. It was a lot better than last week's ep, which
was funny, but not much else.

At least we now know that Castiel is more in step with Dean and how Dean wants to handle situations. As in more of thinking things through and trying to save
more innocent people than just annihilating an entire town of innocents just to get one creature.
But the look on Dean's face as he watched Sam take down the demon with just his powers... heartbreaking.

I really don't think Sam had a choice. I know experimenting with them is dangerous and could very well pull him the darkside, but what would have happened
if he didn't? I'm completely on Sam's side. I can't wait for Dean to ream him a new one though. More screamy angst, please.
It terrified me that Castiel didn't know what he was doing, and regretted the choice Dean would have to make. What kind of angel is he? |
