However, I am a teacher so I get 2 months in the summer, 2 weeks for Christmas, a week in February, and a week and a half in March/April (depending when Easter falls), as well as random holidays here and there.
Been there since September 1

I don't get any - formally - but I can take a personal/sick day if I really too.

3 weeks holidays (15 days), then I also get 10 "flex" days that can be used at the end of a vacation, or for random days off... And we are closed
over the christmas Holidays
So about 7 weeks total per year, and I get an extra year next year Its standard for my company, been there almost one year.. |

I think everybody here gets about 35 days after their four month training period is over.

Right now I have 24 vacation days (keep in mind I haven't taken any significant vacation since December 07 and only a few days off here and there).
I have been at my agency for 1.5 years but I also work in social work and they give you a ridiculous amount of vacation time to make up for shitty pay. My vacation also rolls over. I am technically getting 4 weeks paid each year. |

10 hours of PTO per month plus all government holidays. I've been there just over 2 years and once I hit 3 I will get 13.33 hours per month.

Nope, haven't for over a year now. CBB was purchased by Time Inc. and I worked at PEOPLE on the dotcom side now. Still doing CBB, but in the magazine
offices.

This post makes me sick! I've been at my job for 10 (TEN!!) years & I get ZERO paid time off!
I LOVE the job (general office duties) & I LOVE my co-workers but I do wish I
got SOME paid time off. I can basically come & go as I please but still, it would be nice to get paid for missing time from work. THAT sucks!

I get earned benefit time. It adds up fast. You can save it or take a day here or there. Next week I'm taking my first vacation. I took five of my paid EBT
days. I also have earned paid sick days.

80 hours Paid Annual Leave which covers all vacation, sick and holidays. the only time I get a holiday like Chirstmas off is to either take PAL or take it as
one of my weekend days. I've been there 4 years and will not get any more.

I don't get any paid days off, but I hate my job, so the days I take are still worth it! LOL!

I get 23 PTO days and with sick days, I'm not sure. I have a little over 100 hours of PTO but that's because I just took 112 PTO hours off for
vacation. Whatever's not used rolls over unless it's over 230something hours. I have about 90 hours of sick days.
Been working at the hospital for 2 years. |

5 hours per paycheck so it equals out to 15 days a year (I've been there two years). We don't have sick days and vacation days. Everything is under
PTO. If you call in sick and you still want to get paid for that day, you have to use your hours. If you have a doctor or dental appt and want to get paid for
that time, you have to use your PTO. What really sucks is that they don't require that we work the day after Thanksgiving but if we have to use PTO in
order to get paid for that day. I think they are doing it for the day after Christmas this year too.
I've used a lot this year but only because I took 12 work days off to wander around Europe for a couple of weeks. |

It accumulates over time, and we can have as much as 19 days saved up at once, then we start losing time, so every now and then you'll hear someone talk
about how they need to take vacation before they start losing some. It rolls over from year to year. I also accumulate 4 hours of sick time every two weeks as
well. Plus I work at a university so we get all days when the university is closed as a paid holiday, and the week between Christmas and New Years is a paid
holiday as well.
I've been full time there since July. |

We have a thing called "absence reserve." Basically, every 2 weeks I usually accumulate $20 put into it. Once I have the amount I make in a day saved
up, I can use it whenever.

30 days, holidays, and 5 berevement days if needed....but then again, I own the company (with a partner) so I can take what I want.
My secretary gets 20 days off, but she only works 3 days a week, plus holidays...christmas..includes day before and after, easter, thursday and friday for thanksgiving, memorial and labor day, 4th of July, new years..2 days..good friday...can't remember if there is more.

5 vacation days in my first year, 7 personal days, 2 floating holidays. Usually 5 paid holidays, but they randomly added the days after Thanksgiving and
Chirstmas this year, so that's cool. Yay for a small company that can make up the rules as they go along.
I still wonder what the purpose of a "floating holiday" is. The only difference between that and a vacation day is you can't carry it over. So we all just take them first. |
