Canada: Seventh Foot Washes Ashorehttp://www.nytimes.com/20...efs-SEVENTHFOOTW_BRF.html
Another human foot in a sneaker has been found on the coast of British Columbia, the police said Wednesday. The foot, a woman's in a New Balance running shoe, was the seventh to wash up in the region since August 2007. The Royal Canadian Mounted Police said that it was too early to say if the foot had been severed. But at a news conference before the latest discovery, investigators said the other feet appeared to have separated through decomposition. The synthetic materials in running shoes preserved the feet and allowed them to float to shore, they said. One foot, not among the seven, proved to be animal remains and is assumed to be a hoax.

So have they said if they think this is a serial killer or not?

I haven't been keeping up with this story. What happened to the theory that they were the feet of three men who were in a plane crash but never found? I
assume that was disproved long ago, especially now if there's been a woman's foot found.

This has been going on for so long and it is so weird. The foot is always found in a sneaker too!

Weren't a majority of them left feet as well? I think maybe 4 or 5!

I'm assuming the bodies are weighted down with at the bottom of the ocean somewhere.
I live in the middle of the prairies... and though it usually sucks I'm glad I'm nowhere near the foot situation. |

I've read quite a few of the articles about the feet (I live in BC), and for some reason they never seem to be too concerned about it. I thought they
determined that the first few feet found were identified as being from victims of a plane that crashed into the ocean.
Its not like we haven't had our fair number of serial killers around - so I'm not quite sure that possibility is never really considered |
