did you cut the chicken strips up and put them in the mac and cheese? that's the BEST!
I cheated, again. Chicken strips with mac & cheese.

don't fret, I went back and forth for a long time when I was a vegetarian. just really think hard about why you're deciding to follow this lifestyle, and decide if it's really something you want to commit to. don't beat yourself up, even ONE day of sticking to it still makes some kind of difference, even if it's a small one, it still counts. I've been vegan now for 8 months, and haven't touched any animal products, or even wanted to, but that is after years of being on and off vegetarian, macro, etc. it doesn't happen overnight, 4 months isn't very long to be down on yourself about it. my best suggestion is to really FORCE yourself to go 2-3 weeks without, after that time period, you won't have cravings really, and you'll find replacements. if you can commit to just a few weeks, it seems less daunting than FOREVER, and by the end of that small time period, most of the time you won't really want to go back! |

You know, it's not even so much that I have cravings for the animal stuff. It's that I get sick of eating the same shit EVERYDAY.

And because the mama cows are being used for milk, the calves can't stay with them. They're separated them from their moms and sent off to become veal. Some of them are just discarded and killed after being born because they're of no use. |

I think it helps to look at food as an energy/nutrition source and not a hobby or a source for enjoyment, which I know is very much in our culture to do, but if you can get rid of that way of thinking, you'll find yourself making choices in a different...better way! save the splurges for an insane PMS craving or something. |

I'm having a terrible week. I really wanted to treat myself to something new.
I don't have much money for grocery shopping. Honestly, I make the most of what I can get with the meal plan. |

Yeah, like others have said...not to be rude, but you really cannot consider yourself vegan. I guess YOU can consider yourself vegan, but true vegans and
vegetarians would not consider you vegan.
A vegan who eats meat on occasion is like a kid who gets drunk sometimes claiming straight-edge.

If you say so. I don't know one vegan who would consider someone who "cheats" and eats meat a vegan though.
