It was leaked a while back that a main character was going to get pregnant and that it would be Peyton but things wouldn't go smoothly.

I have even see LP fans saying that was a low blow and they didn't like how he would use a BL term on Peyton. I really don't think that "pretty girl" is a pet name. He just said it because she's pretty and she's a girl. I don't think it had any kind of significance to it, but then again, people make a big deal about the littlest things. Plus, in his "dream", Peyton asked Lucas if she was pretty and he said yes. Maybe since he called her "pretty girl" at the begining, that's how it ended up in the dream. She IS his finace.

I have even see LP fans saying that was a low blow and they didn't like how he would use a BL term on Peyton. i thought it was a little odd, too. eventhough i'm not a brucas fan, i do remember that being the way he refered to brooke. did chad have anything to do w/ writing this episode, or did he just direct it? i'm hoping the former is the case b/c it would make sense that he isn't that seasoned of a writer. maybe he's just not that creative or isn't used to building the characters and giving them new stuff that fits their personalities, so he just borrowed stuff from past episodes. does that make sense? idk, either way, the ep was lame as hell, and you didn't miss a thing, lol.

I need my regular OTH. Next week's previews were so confusing. So they end with Peyton in pain and then it looks like nothing even really comes of it bext ep. And I didn't understand at all what Dawson was doing there. I guess they have been pretty cryptic with their previews lately.

I could tell from the previews that it wasn't worth watching which is why I didn't bother. Judging by the ratings I guess some of the people that did watch decided not to continue after the first half. I am glad that you also remember Lucas referring to Brooke as pretty girl several times and that you thought it was odd too since I know you could care lesss about Brucas. I am guessing Mark told Chad what couples had to be in the episode and stuff and he took it from there. Who is in your avi?

But whatever..still kind of a weird..tie in there...if his name is..Dixon..or whatever. I am still saying Peyton has a miscarriage..that clip is just trying to make us assume it is something else...that's usually what happens with this show.

If it was one of the usual writers who did that episode then it'd be more ..but since Chad wrote it..I could see him just not putting it together the way the fans do.

He didn't just sit in his trailer one day, bang this out, and hand it over to the producers. I actually noticed the "pretty girl" thing when I was watching a rerun today. Whatever, this show isn't really about continuity, is it?
