I don't understand why you go to Starbucks. It's not that amazing and don't you have like 5000 different other thriving coffee shops. The only
reason people in Ohio go to Starbucks is because it's the only thing available!

I go for Caramel Macchiatos. Otherwise it's Tim Horton's for me!

Because it's only a block away! There is a good coffee shop like 5 or 6 blocks from here but I never walk that direction.

Starbucks, Tim Hortons and Coffee Time are the only places to go to get coffee in Toronto! There are very few independent coffee shops, and the ones I've
been too aren't reliable (product, hours, etc.) I go to the chains because they're cheap and convenient - with the exception of Starbucks, which is
way overpriced. I go there and try out their holiday drinks every year, but that's it.

We have a Starbucks literally every block here in Seattle. No joke. They are literally right next to and across from each other. We have basically 6 Starbucks
within a 3 block radius of the city. That's not an exaggeration, either. That's two Starbucks for every block!

I"m actually surprised by the lack of coffee shops. I stumbled upon them EVERYWHERE when I was in San Francisco.

I live in NYC and there are many places to get coffee, but I go to Starbucks because I just really like their coffee. I don't like to get the coffee at the
delis here because they aren't as good.

Actually, now that I think about it... Starbucks is practically the only coffee shops here. Maybe a Tully's here and there, but nowhere near as much as
Starbucks.

we have other coffee options everywhere. I go to the coffee shop across the street from me, and starbucks or dazbog when I'm outside of downtown and want a
drive-thru.

Because Starbucks does a lot of advertising. The peer pressure to go to Starbucks must be immense.

I am guessing that pretty much every donut place and convenience store has coffee.

Because downstairs in my office building is a starbucks and not a random coffee shop.
I live in Los Angeles. |

Most major cities I know only have places that serve coffee on the side. Like, they serve sandwiches and if you want regular coffee ok. So, Starbucks does have
more variety, is more convenient, and hell, being honest they DO taste better to me than some local places. I won't go to a nasty local place just because
it is uncool to "support big business" and "sell my soul" to a place that has better tasting coffee.
