TBH, I don't understand why she isn't allowed to watch SpongeBob either.

I will say that I at first let my two older ones watch Family guy because my husband watched it with them. Then I actually watched an episode and had to ban it from all three of them |

I should tell my sister not to let my niece and nephew watch, I guess.
Or not. |

Well bless you then. Yeah, I don't understand why they have her talk so freaking loud.

She's five and the reason I won't let her watch Sponge Bob is because I don't want to have a smart ass brat
Someone mentioned that they
don't understand the stuff said, but my five year old does. As far as Nick is concerned, she can watch Noggin. Nothing after that. No iCarly or Drake
and Josh either, lol.

I meet people at work everyday who don't let their kids watch Spongebob, so that's not odd to me.

I am glad I was not over-sheltered. I was watching The Simpsons at that age and most people actually go out of there way to comment on how polite I am

I was very sheltered. I wasn't even allowed to watch the Smurfs, yet I'm a huge jerk.

Spongebobis going to be one of those shows that when the generation that grew up watching it is our age, they will watch and episode and say 'I had no
idea, why did my parents let me watch that?'
I'm trying to think of something to use for an example, but I just woke up and my brain is still asleep. |

Thank god I wasn't sheltered. I think I've turned out to be a very decent human being/adult too.

My 7 yr old sister watches Spongebob, Family Guy, Simpsons, Futurama and a bunch of other "inappropriate" shows.
She's a smart ass but it runs in the family. |
