I think that's very important to know!
I hate when job postings don't give a salary range

When I was looking for someone, I asked our HR person about posting the range, and she said she did -- she posted the job code. Because people that DON'T
already work for our company are going to know WTF that means right?

i hate that, too. my current job posted a position and the salary and the people who worked in that department raised a HUGE fuss because it was higher than
they were currently making. it might be to prevent that from happening.

I hate that too. And they don't generally tell you until after they offer you the job. And you're not supposed to ask either. But for me, how much I
want the job is directly proportional to the rate of pay.
What's even worse is when they ask YOU to supply a range. |

I know right. The job may be cool but if it's not paying what you need why waste everyone's time?
