At first I was shocked and appalled, but.....
... from information that's come out the guy in question had a criminal past. I know a lot of people will argue that one thing doesn't have to do with the other, but I disagree and it DOES in fact influence my opinion on the events that transpired.
I'm sick of people who are troublemakers and constantly in trouble with the law dying and being martyred. And I'm pretty liberal.
I live in Oakland and while I don't want BART policy whipping out their guns and shooting at random people, I can't say I'm too bothered by some 22 year old with over 12 arrests and a prison sentence under his belt being wiped off the earth.

Judging by the video, I honestly do think it was an accident. Like others have said, the cop looked truly shocked when it went off. And I'm usually not one
to side with cops or whatnot...I think most abuse their power so much. This one was probably going to as well when he was going to taser the guy, but I
don't think he pulled out the gun and intended to shoot him. Either way, they're all pigs.
