a) everyone here is extremely critical
b) no one here has any obligation to be nice or not hurt my feelings.
I need honesty!
Also the pic is jacked up because I don't trust you fools and I don't want to post a full on pic of myself.

I figured this is a good place to ask since
a) everyone here is extremely critical b) no one here has any obligation to be nice or not hurt my feelings. I need honesty! Also the pic is jacked up because I don't trust you fools and I don't want to post a full on pic of myself.

It always depends on your comfort level with your own features. If you like it the way it is, then who cares what others think. Are you willing to go through
the pain/cost?

I don't think it's THAT bad, but if you're that uncomfortable with it, do it for yourself.

I personally do not like my nose. Never have.
But I thought it would interesting to see how other people see it. Especially people that I don't know at all. |

Well if you don't like it, I'd say do it. It might do wonders for your self image overall.

I don't see anything wrong with your nose. Honestly if it's not broken by some crazy accident, I don't see the point. But how you want to feel is
up to you.

Yeah I mean I appreciate it, but that is the same answer I always get.
I want to know if I am one of those people that people look at and say gee...she would look great if she just fixed her nose. Kinda like how when you people watch in the mall...if you do that sort of thing. |

I don't think it's bad either, but it's your face. It shouldn't matter all that much what anyone else thinks.
If it makes you feel better, do it for yourself -- just do a ton of research into the doctor and procedure beforehand. |

I'm not into tampering with the natural unless it's ghastly and you're def not anywhere close

Well we can't see the rest of your face so we're just limited to your nose.

You have to seriously consider the consequences of a nose job. Firstly, if you want it done right, you need to put a lot of work into finding a good surgeon.
Do a ton of research. Consult with a few choices. Sometimes having to travel to an area with a better doctor.
You have to know exactly what you want. Nose jobs aren't always drastic. They're most often just a polished version of your current nose. Don't expect your favourite celebrity's nose plastered on your face. Sometimes the change is drastic, sometimes it's not. Don't be disappointed if you get the latter. You're looking at at least $5000 and more, depending on your doctor and area. You'll have to miss at least a few days to a week of work/school. You'll be in bed for the first day or two at least. You'll need someone to take you there and back and care for you during those first few days. And are you willing to walk around for the first few weeks with bandages out in public? Then you're looking at a year or more of swelling until you see the final result and many follow up appointments. And of course you must consider that sometimes things don't go as planned. There are risks. And about 10% of nose jobs require revisions. |

I know everyone says "well who cares what people think" but please...most people care what others think, I am not going to pretend I don't...well at least when it comes to looks. |

Then blatantly put, leave your nose alone.

That's what I think. You're seeing it bigger. We always add 20 to ourselves.

It may seem bigger to you than others actually perceive it because you're constantly scrutinizing over it.
And my little rant was based on the fact that someone close to me had a nose job this summer and I was the one who drove her there and back and took care of her throughout the entire process. |

I would leave it alone... but the way you tried to cover up your eyes and hair I found to be quite funny.
