I haven't bought a phone off ebay, but I wouldn't buy from someone with less than 98% feedback. You can ask the seller for the ESN (electronic serial
number) of the phone they are selling. Then call your service provider and ask them to look that number up. If the phone was stolen or has any other issues,
they'll tell you.
