LMAO! Her face is classic! I noticed that when I was watching it over! I also noticed that Anoop has a lot of fans in the group! Ricky, Adam, Lil, Kris, and
Scott were really dancing and cheering their asses off for his performance. Ricky was the most enthusiastic.
It was nice to see that in the background!

What the heck is the deal with the Top 13? I mean I could understand it if they actually had 13 amazing singers, but they have like... six at the most. So
lame! I hope two people are going home next week. Do we know if that'll happen? I don't feel like reading.

I'm confused. I was trying to do the math and isn't the finale on May 20th. If so, that means they'll have to eliminate 2 people on one night,

yeah I think with eliminating Idol Gives Back they have that week to eliminate someone. But... they will probably do a double elimination just to eff with us

Last year on Idol Gives Back week, they eliminated Michael Johns. So we probably will have a double elimination.

Two people go home next week?? Oh wow that is crazy. I hope it is not Anoop. I would hate if they brought him back only to take him away. I think some of
the contestants might be mad two people go home next week. I hope they don't resent him, but really it is not like they added him. I think the judges
knew all along to put him in the top 12 and the added person was probably Jasmine.

Top 13: get ready for a double elimination
04:49 PM PT, Mar 6 2009 Since "American Idol" rushed us into shock Thursday night, we've been wondering how this will all play out. There are 13 finalists but only 12 weeks of competition, so a double elimination has to be around the corner, right? Sort of the way they do it when "Idol Gives Back" postpones someone's appointment with the Angel of Death. Well, executive producer Ken Warwick chatted with Zap2It at the Top 13 party Thursday night and confirmed there will be a double elimination round. Not necessarily next week, though! According to Fox, host Ryan Seacrest will explain how it will all work on the air next week. Warwick has been hinting in interviews that the Top 13 surprise is not the only one coming this season. Bigger surprises than a Michael Jackson-themed week in which Kelly Clarkson and Kanye West perform? Be still our hearts. |

I agree. I really believe that Anoop, Matt and Megan were already the picks. I think Jasmine was probably added just to throw in another girl.

I know Idol likes to blindside people at times, but I hope they don't surprise them with a double-elimination. Like have the two people standing there and
then say, "Guess what? You're both going home." That would be cruel, but definitely something they would do.

they tell the contestants before they perform that two people will be going home that week.
