What would your discount be on laptops? Specifically a Mac.
I want one and its hella expensive and I'm gonna try to get a discount through a friend of a friend if its worth it lol Thanks

Steve Wozniak himself only gets a 10% discount so I'm guessing Best Buy employees don't get much!

My boyfriend used to work in computers there. I know on a lot of laptops he wouldn't get any discount because they don't make much profit on the actual
laptop. The discount was good on accessories. And I know for the iPod there was never a discount so I would think it would be the same with a Mac.

Are you a student? Apple offers discounts on their website for students. When I got mine, we waited until my state's tax free weekend. I got the student
discount AND didn't have to pay tax. It made a huge difference.

oh ok thanks guys.
yeah i know about the student discount. its pretty much the same as if i were buying it through best buy. $980 is the cheapest i could find. the price blows, but its the coolest friggin computer ive ever seen lol

It's SO worth the money, I promise. Macs are by far the best computers I've ever used. My MacBook is one of my most prized possessions!
