This actually just reminded me that I never got anything from my parents for my University graduation! After high school they paid for my trip to Europe. Oh
well, I'll say them paying for my law school tuition was there present

I didn't ask for anything. Most of my friends got trips to europe, bahamas, cruises etc but I did not want that. So instead my parents took the money they
would have spent on a trip and put it towards my car for me.

Nothing -- I was grateful that they paid for my education. People actually ask for stuff? Wow.

i'm graduating on Saturday with my second degree and my parents are flying me, my sister and my niece to Australia to visit them for two weeks. For my
first degree, they paid for the two of us to spend 10 days in Italy.

Didn't ask for anything, but I got a sapphire "past, present, future" drop necklace since it's my school's main color and a bunch of
alumni stuff.

I don't ask for gifts like that. Seems rather tacky to me.

I did not ask for anything for my graduation from college last year. My parents took out a large part of my family to dinner and they all pretty much gave me
some money. I ended up putting pretty much all the money in the bank. That was good enough for me!

Well, my mom insisted she get me something fun, so she bought me one of those VIP tickets for a New Kids concert this summer. And they took me out to dinner
after my graduation to a nice restaurant.

I didn't ask for anything. My family flew 3,000 miles just to watch me walk. I did get some money and gift cards for "grown-up" clothes from
relatives and family friends, though.

I would like to get a new laptop and a nice camera. I'm going to London the day after graduation but I'm paying for the whole thing. My parents paid
for a few semesters of college for me, but for the most part I paid with my own money.
But I know I'm not going to sit there and ask for anything. If they ask, I'll tell them. |

I didn't ask for anything since they paid for my education(which I am grateful for -->no debt! whoo hoo), so that can be my graduation gift

Nothing? I wasn't aware that people honestly asked for college graduation gifts.

I didn't ask for anything but my dad switched one of his apartments over to my name
Edit: That's when I got my Masters. For my undergrad I got to go and live in Marbella, Spain for 4 months. |
