Certainly Not Dcutie wrote:This is my dad exactly. We get along a lot better now that I'm out on my own and not living with him, but our relationship is really superficial. There are a lot of things he did and said in the past (before my mom left him) that I will never be able to forgive him for. |

We have a great relationship. He's one of my best friends. He's the most selfless person I know. I love my dad.

I'm really super close to both of my parents. But my Dad and I are basically the same person... freakishly so. We've never fought or argued ever and we
always know what the other is thinking and have great indepth conversations about life and the universe. I don't know, we just communicate on a whole
different level than anyone else.
I couldn't have asked for a better father, or a better mother either. I am definitely blessed in that way.

my dad and i are pretty cool. i'm the baby so we're much closer than he is with the other fools he raised. he works my nerves at times, but all in all,
we have a great relationship.

I'm a mommy's girl but my dad and I get along pretty while. He's is the only person I can talk sports with, especially Cardinals baseball, and not
get that look like i have no idea want I'm talking about because I'm a girl when I probably know more about sports then they do.

For the longest time we didn't but I think it was because he didn't know how to raise a girl on his own.
Now that I have gotten older (married, had a child etc) we can relate a lot better. |

Yes, i've always love my dad to death. And out of the five i'm the one he always seeks advice before doing something.

I'm not sure. I still haven't forgiven him for being an abusive asshole when I was growing up.

Things were fine until he started telling me how much he disapproved of me dating non-Jewish guys. The first guy, fine I understand because he was actually a
loser. But my second serious relationship -- the guy I ended up marrying -- is every parent's dream. Seriously.
But when he got really sick, we put our differences aside, definitely. Awwwe, I really miss him
