Next year I will be 24 and still living at home. I am staying until I am completely finished with school. Hopefully I will be moving out that summer or soon
after though.

I'm 26 and still live at home. It's impossible to live on my own on a substitute teacher's salary. It doesn't really bother me much. My parents
let me do what I want without asking too many questions.

I'm 25 (soon to be 26) and I just moved back in with my parents. My boyfriend and I want to start saving so we can get a house, and we wouldn't be able
to do that paying rent (I just don't make enough money).

Wow, you guys are lucky to have parents like that. I left home when I was 17 and would not be allowed to move back. If I was broke and desperate my father
would pay my bills rather than me move in with him. Funny thing is, he is 67 years old and plans on living with me when the time comes. Crazy.

moving out this weekend!

I'll be 24 this year and I still live at home. I don't make a lot of money so it makes more sense for me to stay here and save money instead of moving
out and living paycheck to paycheck.

I'm 25 and live with my parents. I'm moving soon, though. I moved back in with them after college to save money for a house. I would have blown through
a shit load of money living in an apartment in Orange County...it would have made no sense and would have been a complete waste. I've been able to save a
ton and I'm grateful they gave me the opportunity to do so. I'm moving out soon though, next month.

26 and I moved back in about 2 years ago. I had a lot of problems after a hurricane ruined all of my belongings and damaged the apartment building and it had
to be demolished. I had to find a new place, replace everything I owned (getting me into a bit of debt), and my relationship ended around that time. Rent
increased because of the storm damage and it doesn't equate with pay in this area. So for right now, it's the best decision. i'm saving up to move
to Atlanta within the next few years.

I didn't move out until the day after I got married at the age of 26; ditto for my husband who was 27.
All of my friends who are not married or who do not have children still live with their parents -- they range in age from 25 - 30. |

Yes. But I'm also disabled and they don't want me to live on my own. I'm trying to convince them otherwise.
