I use it but this is only my second month on it. My boobs get really sore the closer it gets to taking the ring out plus I have cramps all the time. Not bad
ones though. Your period is suppose to start 2 days after taking the ring out but mine normally start 5 days after. Other than that I would say that it's
fine.

Thanks for the reply.
I have bad breakthru bleeding on this pill I'm on. They gave it to me back in March and it's gotten to the point where it's way more than spotting. I'm afraid to try another pill because it may do the same thing.

I was on it....it gave me horrible migraines so I stopped using it. My roommate loves it though. My other friend that was on it didn't stop bleeding for
like a month while using it so she also quit.

Gray - I was told by my doctor not to take the sugar pills because I was spotting so much anyway. Since I didn't take those, I'm technically just
starting my fourth pack, if that makes sense!

Yeah, I've been on it for almost 3 years and LOVE IT! I think it gave me mood swings the first year or so (or maybe it was just me and situations) but for
the past 2 years, it's been great. I have bad memory, so remembering to take it out once a month is nice for a person like me :P

i do. i like that i don't have to keep up taking a pill at the same time everyday. however, it seems like it comes out of place a lot. i find myself
readjusting it pretty regularly, which is irritating. i hate when i'm somewhere or doing something and can't fix it. i also suspect it might be giving
me yeast infections. oh yeah, and the one other upside is that it gives me like 2-3 day periods, which is awesome and keeps me from giving up on it.

My co-worker told me that his girlfriend took it out when they were having sex. Isn't that.. kind of.. against the whole point of it?

fanfromohio wrote:Not taking the sugar pills could be 9/10 of your problem. When I was on BC pills, I decided to not take the sugar pills, and take 2 packs back-to-back. That worked out just fine....no breakthrough or anything. I figured, if 2 packs works, why not try 3!? So, I tried doing 3 packs back-to-back, and it was trouble. I ended up spotting horribly! Take the pills like normal (i.e. with the sugar pills) and you'll be fine. I tried NuvaRing for a month, and spotted really bad. I'm sure if I gave it more than a month, it would have worked out wonderfully for me. I've got an IUD now, and I it. Wouldn't try anything else! No spotting, no side effects, nothing. Heck, I never even get my period! Aside
from some super minor cramps every now and then (usually around the time I'm supposed to have my period) I have zero complaints.

I hated it. I wasn't moody.... I was moodless. I swear to god for the year I was on it I was never happy, never sad.... just.... blah. And it was always
falling out, and having to be readjusted, and, yeah, yuck.

I'm on it and love it. We just take it out if it's getting in the way and put it back in right after.
