Would you be disappointed if one of your kids were gay?

Not at all. And I just hope if I ever have any gay kids, that I am able to show them how not disappointed I am.

My sister told me something about a girl she knew. It's really sad. She was a lesbian, had a really hard time coming out and eventually killed herself. She
was really young. Like in her teens. She got bullied badly. Kids saying it's obvious she's gonna be a porn star (to the question what they wanted to do
when they grow up). And the worst thing was, her parents didn't support her. They demanded her to get a boyfriend and life a straight live or she
would've been disowned/kicked out of the house. Eventually, she committed suicide at a party
what a screwed up world.

What a terrible story!
I've never understood why people act like such FREAKS over homosexuality. Honestly, what the hell does it have to do with you? Shoo, I'm miffed. I shouldn't get started. |

^"life a straight live". lol. But yeah, it would make sense...They are just starting to deal with how to live with it. Kids can be the cruelest on
highschool. It's probably the hardest stage in their life.
I heard the kids kept harrassing her with porn comments. It's absolutely rediculous! What does it have to with with being gay anyway?! I think she did have (only 1) friend who supported her but he/she didn't live in the same town. Stupid parents. I just really don't get what the freakin big deal is with homosexuality. |

No and neither would my parents (his or her grandparents). We're very forward thinking people and besides, hopefully by then the world would have changed
for the better regarding LBGT treatment.

Not really, no. I'd be worried about the challenges they'd face because they'd be black and gay, but I'd want them to be happy.
And they could have biological kids if they get a woman to carry the baby. But any child they'd adopt would be my grandchild no matter what. Family doesn't always mean blood relation. |

Canada it is!
Edit: Sri Lankans? In Canada? Okay, didn't know that, but even so why does that rule Canada out. M.I.A. is Sri Lankan, so that means they're cool ppl right?

Yes I am unfortunately. I get clumped with the least progressive race on the planet.

I'd probably feel a tinge of surprise but I have never really cared if someone was gay or straight. It's just a part of being human----we're
diverse and you can't help what you like.

Really? I wouldn't think they were the least progressive. But that's probably because the only Sri Lankan I know of is M.I.A. and now you.
But okay, private & very liberal island it is!!!
