It's funny that people actually expected him to fix the economy by now. We were saying back when the first stimulus first passed it wouldn't start working till early next year. You are just making a fool out of yourself, Rok. No body thought things were going to be peachy keen by now. Lots of us were hoping he wouldn't do anything to make it worse, though. How is doing the exact same thing supposed to eventually help? Or are you going to be satisfied with him just further propping up the bubble?

Yeah, that was the first thing I said, is there anything he's done that's been successful. NO ANSWER. I'm just saying, crime goes up the worse the economy gets, and Obama's just further prolonging the crash. There are so many things he could do that he just doesn't. There wasn't crime in my neighborhood the last 8 years. Things have gotten MASSIVELY worse since January 2008. It could've been over, this could've been the worst, but it's definitely not.

Two wars where a majority of our spending is going to defense contractors. Defense Contractors who are making billions off the backs of our soldiers. This is not "theory" "speculation" "conspiracy theories" this is fact. No government can fight two costly wars and not suffer some economic fallout. In fact, China the Saudis, etc are pouring money thus they have debt. Fourth, healthcare, healthcare, healthcare. Last, tax cuts. It has been said repeatedly, you do not cut taxes in the middle of a war. That is unheard of and irresponsible. Tax cuts are great when they benefit the buffer group, ie the middle class. Going back to my previous points, when you have the owners, etc making more than their workers then how are workers expected to buy the products of said firms? This may sound fairly simple and rudimentary, but it is simple economics at its most basic form. Again, I am not an economist, nor do I pretend to be. I loathed econ in college. However to do read and study so that I can understand those things that are going on in my world. So that I will have a better grasp rather than relying on over simplistic explanations and 20 sec soundbites from an infotainment driven media. Thank you for this.

He realized that if he didn't, no one would be able to buy his cars. A viable working middle class is a must if you want a decent society. But I suppose some folks would be quite happy with a two-class system as long as they're in the class that has the money. But 200 days in on Bush's watch we had 9/11 - and I can't seem to recall hearing Newt say Bush had failed? Just like a republican.
