Say close friend since 3rd grade was getting married and they asked you to read during the ceremony in their wedding...which meant you would attend the
rehearsal. If your boyfriend of nearly 2 years said he didn't want to go to the wedding rehearsal because of a kickball game he was playing in (yes,
kickball...a kid sport that 26 year-olds still play)...would you be annoyed...hypothetically of course...

No. Does it really matter if the bf goes to the rehearsal or not? Why would he go anyways, just to watch you? As long as he's at the wedding, I
wouldn't care.

No, as long as a guy isn't late or misses his own wedding, he's allowed to be late or skip any other weddings.

Yes.
Edit: Oh wait, I misread that. I thought it said would you be annoyed if he didn't want YOU to go to the rehersal. |

Him missing the rehearsal would not bother me. If he missed the wedding it would bother me.

I'd be annoyed that he didn't want to go to the rehersal dinner with me as my date. Not at all at the actual rehersal.

He was invited to go by the bride and groom. Typically, with our friends at least, significant others of the wedding party, etc attend the wedding rehearsal.
I told him I didn't care. I'm nervous to read, so it would have been nice to have him there. But I know that in the grand scheme of life, this isn't a biggie. I guess I would have just not given it a second thought had the roles been reversed. |

lmao, no. BF can go to his kickball game. People CAN do things without their SO's from time to time.

I know Lisa...I was just asking hypothetically.
We do things w/o each other a lot (I love my "me" time) I'm just nervous.

I would feel the same. A little bummed that he didn't want to come with me just to be with me, but it's not all that important if he's at the
rehearsal or not.

No biggie in the grand scheme of things. Definitely not "battle" worthy. I'll get my nerves shaken out and enjoy some wine at dinner.
