Posts: 646 (07/10/2009 8:56 PM) Reply Quote More Recent Posts	despite the amount... i think a permanent position is worth it. not to mention you do get a little bit of a raise. but most importantly... you're on the track to working your way up to management where you'll make a decent amount for the next few years before you transition into something else. p.s. i'm in GA... where is the other store?

I got a retail job starting out at 7.5 years ago and then was bumped to over 8 within six months-I guess certain companies pay better? That sucks though. But, then again, cost of living is really cheap in a lot of places in Ga.

Posts: 17946 (07/10/2009 8:59 PM) Reply Quote More Recent Posts	hot topic doesn't pay well to begin with. store managers top out at 16, but I'm not planning on staying there my whole life. oh and after min wage goes up I get another raise in october (yearly review), so yeah. it'll be 25 or 35 cents on top of all this. I think I'm gonna take it. elaina - alpharetta! I'm in buford now.

I still live at home and I want to go to school in the fall or spring so I'm fine with what I have. I'm trying for experience, not a career at this point!
