HI!
Okay so I got an associates in liberal arts, just finished the CMA program, and I'm looking to go back. I have most of the GE classes, but I'm probably going to retake some to get a higher GPA and a better chance of getting in the program. I know the pre-reqs you can go part time, but after you're accepted in.. it's full time right? And the entrence exam is different for each school, but what type of questions are asked? |

Hi there
Hopefully this will help:
http://www.studyguidezone.com/nursingtest.htm Different schools do have different exams, but all of them do ask the same type of questions, as far as I know. This is the site I'm using to study a little. Hope it helps you too! Oh, and generally yes, nursing programs tend to be full time programs.

My school used the NET exam and they required a certain percentage on each section. There were two sections that mattered. Reading and math. Both were
science/medical oriented. It wasn't that difficult but a lot of people didn't pass at first. I didn't have any problem. I just prepared with a prep
book.
At my school you could be part-time if you had all of your pre-reqs done and only want to do nursing classes and clinical. I did it in two years plus summers in between. It was really hard to do full-time but it was over faster. |

That's what it is in Maine. Basically, AAS, ADN, and ASN are the same thing.
