Personally I think Bryce is a better choice but Rachelle signed the contract and they did hire her in the beginning to be Victoria so they should have just
kept their word and kept her in the franchise --- regardless of a "bigger" name coming along and agreeing to be in the movie. I'm sure that's
the only reason why Summit is doing this.
Rachelle has every right to sue the shit out of them. |

Rachelle's an original franchise cast character so it's sad for her to not complete the series with the rest of the original cast. Because of
Victoria's prominent role in Eclipse, Rachelle is losing out on endorsement deals, a potentially larger salary and the type of exposure that could lead to
other prominent roles in the future. If she feels she's right, then she has every right to pursue this.

I think it's just a continuity thing. Most people have said it's distracting when they change actors in the middle of things (like Dumbledore in Harry
Potter, and yes I know Richard Harris died, but I've never liked Michael Gambon's portrayal because it is sooo different, but I don't complain
because they had to recast the role, obviously). And I have to agree. In addition, a lot of fans will be thinking of the controversy the second BDH first
graces the screen in Eclipse. Like someone said before, she might be wise to back out, as the fan backlash could get ugly for her (which is sad and
unfortunate, but the TwiHards can be loony.)
