I don't think Justin's a good actor by any means but I don't think he's a bad one either. I thought his performance in Alpha Dog was very good.
I think him and Anton were the best in that film. I thought he was good in Black Snake Moan but overracted in parts. Thought he was fine in Southland Tales as
well. I haven't seen Edison or The Love Guru though. But from what I have seen, he's got potential if he works at it and he is definitely not the worst
of the singer turned actors imo.

1. Alpha Dog was him at his best, but that's not showing much. 2. He's not as bad as Beyonce. Idgi it though because I think his acting/comedic timing on SNL is great. Maybe he should just do comedies. |

I liked him in Southland Tales, but his other movies yeah I agree BAD acting. Which is odd sauce because he's great on SNL and comedy skits. Maybe he

As much as it pains me to say this, Hayden Christensen's really bad at acting.
I adore Hayden but his acting is just atrocious, he was awesome in "Life as a House" though. I think it depends on the roles he cast in, he plays that bratty kid role to perfection. Which is why he come out good as Sam Manroe. |

I think its hard to stand out when you play kind of basic clean cut guys next door like many of the roles Justin has played. I think Alpha Dog was better
because it was more of a unique character he was playing. He even stood out a little more in some videos like Cry Me A River and when he did the Elton John
video, and the role he played in Southland Tales, playing someone who was kind of tortured.

But that oddly makes me almost want to say that he isn't THAT bad. Open Road seems like a movie I could watch, even if his acting sucked. And I must be one of the only people wishing he would actually pursue acting, and quit music. That way I could stand his personality so much better. |
