I didn't know that it was his father-in-law who shot him until my friend told me. I got confused a couple times when he time-traveled, but I otherwise
thought it was a good movie. I'm glad I went with a friend who read the book so she could explain the parts that I was confused about. I want to read the
book now. And I LOVED Rachel McAdams, she is so wonderful!

I loved the movie, it was as true to the book as they could given that a movie was only 2 hours

I went this past Saturday and I really enjoyed it. I absolutely loved the book and was pleased with what they did with the movie. I think they left out all
the appropriate things that wouldnt have translated as well on film. I can see how some one who hasnt read the book would be a bit confused by the movie
though.

I loved the book... i was pleased with how the movie turned out.
There are some characters and some moments not in the movie but in the end the movie is well done. It can be a bit more confusing then the book because of the date/age date reminders, (ie; Wed April 13, 1994 Claire is 22, Henry is 30) |

I liked the book but I was still pleased with the movies translation. I hated hated the whole cut off feet and shot by the father in law thing and i was so
sure it would be changed in the movie.
The part I loved about the book is how she spent the rest of her life waiting for him to show up again. I found is beautifully sad- she was destined to spend her life waiting for him |

Great movie. I just started the book and it's great so far. Eric and Rachel had really nice chemistry.

I just saw it tonight after having read the book twice. I was sad there was no Kimy and I wish there had been more moments of older Henry and younger Claire, I
really wish they had developed that relationship more. Those were some of my favorite parts of the book. Especially where her and Henry have sex for the first
time and the one where she goes to the party and Henry waits for her in the car.
I also wish they had spent more time developing their relationship before they got married - it seemed like they met and the next second they were engaged. I know I'm being super critical because I looooved the book so much! But that being said, the movie was really good and I think I'll see it again. |

Here's one part I'm confused about:

I think it was a one time thing because that was the last time he saw himself in the future before he died. I may be wrong though.

You're right. He traveled to that time before he died. Actually in the book,

I thought the brother shot henry by accident, not the dad...it's kinda weird that there were two henrys at that time though...like Henry saw himself dead.
