I watched it all yesterday and it was so touching.
I wish the sun setting hadn't made it impossible for them to show us the end of the burial. I was hoping to see John Schlossberg. It's been years since I've seen a picture of him. Handsome young man. |

Everytime I think of ted, I think of that woman in 1969 he was having an affair with and she was pregnant, so he let her drown and didn't report it until
the next day.

He wasn't a very nice man.

There is actually no hard evidence that it was an affair and there is definitely no evidence that the woman was pregnant. All that is speculation.
It's really sad that some people will dwell on a dark period in person's life and choose to ignore all the good and hard work they did for the bigger part of their life. |

The coroner found ZERO evidence that Mary Jo Kopechne was pregnant and there is no evidence she was having an affair with ANYONE, let alone Ted Kennedy. He DID NOT treat his first wife Joan like shit at all. He supported her lavishly after their divorce and paid for her numerous hospitalizations. She was included in all of the Kennedy family and holiday celebrations. He Ted Kennedy was so horrible what was she doing at his wake and at his funeral. Ted Kennedy made a horrible mistake the night of the auto accident that resulted in Kopechne DROWNING. He apologized many times. He was a wonderful person. |

^ I'm not right wing so your talking shit. Just because someone dies doesn;'t make them a wonderful person, but to each is own, and that's
defintley not a word I woulsd use to describe him. There is no excuse to wait 24 hrs to call the police when someone dies in front of you, but hey hopefully
you never come across someone that wonderful, that lets you drown,

Katyaya wrote: Thank you. Yes, he made a huge mistake not reporting it right away, he was likely calling his attorney and family for advice, and sobering up. On the other hand, it is awful Mary Jo died, but nobody put a gun to her head to get into a car driven by a drunk man. |
