Time. It's your best friend and worst enemy. Time is the only thing to heal a broken heart. For now focus on other things, I went back to school.

yes, stop trying. It will only make you think about it more and feel worse.

I've kept myself busy, and I am in school. But my mind always goes back, even if I'm out having a good time.

There is no way. Only time, and lots of it. Meeting new people helps a little, because it give you something to think of, other than the devastation.
My ex-boyfriend and I were working things out, he called so much every day this summer, I love you blah blah. Last night I ran into him at a block party and he was with the girl that he swore to me he didn't talk to. They'd been swimming together alone, at midnight, and were obviously there together. I have no words for how I'm feeling right now. He was my best friend and was leading this whole other life that I didn't know about. So now I have to get over it all over again. |

Find a new hobby, your present one (obsessing over the hurt and pain) is not healthy.
Take a cooking class, exercise, learn a new language..anything to take your mind off it. Soon, you will be over the whole thing.

When someone is your whole life for so long and suddenly they aren't there anymore, it hurts like hell. Especially when now somebody else is there whole
life.
And I don't know how to move on. I have tried. I have dated other guys...and nothing. |

Time wounds all heels. Maybe try to focus on something that does make you happy--exercise, a hobby, friends, etc. Put all the energy you have into that and in
time you'll find you're concentrating on that and not the loss.
