Awww...these stories makes me have hope. I'm meeting someone from match.com tomorrow for the first time. I've never done this before and am very
nervous.

Me!! I met my husband in a chatroom just randomly talking about our favourite band. That was in 2000. We married in 2001 and have three children.

my brother met his now-ex-wife online. The falling in love part was online and over the phone. They didn't meet until much later, and got engaged after
visiting for 2 weeks.
of the course the "now-ex" part doesn't help the sales pitch here.

My co-worker met and fell in love with her husband over the internet. He was in England, she was here, they met on myspace, fell in love after only exchanging
emails, and they've been together for 4 years now. He ended up finding work here as a researcher and moving. They have a son now, too.

I met my boyfriend online, through MySpace (haha) but he also went to my college, so I found him on the MySpace board for our college. I sent him a message
asking if he was at the bookstore earlier, because I saw someone who looked like him. :P He replied with yes, added me on MySpace, IM'ed me and 4 years
later, we're still together.
 Most amazing guy!
Also, my friend met her now ex boyfriend online, through some board talking about bands, and they were together for 5 years. He lived in Arkansas and she lived in California, so it didn't work out for them in the end because neither wanted to re-locate. |

My best friend's cousin met his wife on EHarmony.com, I believe, and her other cousin met his fiancee on the same website.
My other friend is dating this guy that she met on match.com. They've been dating since the beginning of May. |

So match.com actually works? I was on that site last year, but I didn't meet anyone great.
I actually just joined this website, because it's free and I don't have the time for the paying ones right now - fish in the sea, or something like that. My friend mentioned it to me today at lunch and I just went to check it out, lol. Not that I'm looking for anything serious right now. Just to chat lol |
