I've never had problems with AT&T either, but I know the coverage is really bad in some areas (like SF).

You can't even get AT&T where I am, unless you're allowed to get it in a town where you CAN get it even if you don't live or work there. So
basically, if you live in my town and want an iPhone, you're pretty much fucked.

Monopoly.
They'd make more mad money if VeriZon could sell it too. . . Doesn't AT&T pay an assload to keep exclusivity? |

My sister had AT&T and couldn't even get a signal at our house. You know what they told her - to try making her calls outside.
So yeah, AT&T sucks. |

You clearly have more towers in your area of they country -- but is it really so hard to look at their coverage map and understand why many people don't consider them a valid alternative? What's not to understand? |

I get a much better monthly rate with Sprint than I did with AT&T. Then I get an employee discount through my company on top of that since my company's
entire plan is with Sprint.
Plus I don't want an iphone. |

Anyone who is in my mom's house can't get service. ATT, Verizon, Sprint, Tmobile...none! It doesn't bother me. I guess I expect there to be
glitches on mobile devices. None of them are perfect.

I can't believe that there's now a $99 Iphone, but the cheapest plan with AT&T is $70/month.

Verizon is the only one that works in my area and I have tried every other carrier so I am not switching out , even though I want the iPhone.

Yeah, AT&T sucks when it comes to defected iPhones. My first iPhone wouldn't wake up after it "fell asleep", so it would never ring when
someone called or texted. I only had the phone for a week. They wouldn't do anything for me and I ended up having to drive 2 hours to the nearest Apple
store. Pissed me off.
I would love it if the iPhone went to Sprint. They have the 2nd cheapest plans (I believe T-Mobile has the cheapest) and I could get my employee discount making my bill $24/month, instead of the $100 I'm paying right now. I honestly don't understand why so many people go to Verizon. They make you overpay on everything. |
