He did look thin but he seemed to have the energy for what he needed to do. I think when he got on that stage, he had all the energy he needed.
And it's possible that's not him sliding down the banister but you can't go by his legs looking short. The pants he wore always tended to make his legs look short. Damn highwaters. |

Read his mother book and you would get a sense that generally Michael has a eating disorder/or issue with good and when he is preparing to tour its not helped because he doesnt remember to even eat a little unless forced to. in her book Katherine mentioned a incident on the bad tour when MJ mentioned to her that he could wait for the tour to be over so he can go back to his regular eating pattern, because they were forcing him to eat at least three meal a day and added food items he normally avoided to help his energy level. according his mother he said he found eating a waste of time. |

I've been watching the tribute over and over again, and noticing small things.
Janet does a signature MJ move at the end of the dance break, and did you guys notice her backup dancers were wearing black masks like MJ did. I thought that was such a nice touch. Even with the mistakes (I bet the dude who couldn't lean is feeling like ass today) it was awesome, the production, the energy, and the fact that it was a who's who of choreographers. Loved it. I hope MTV allows his estate to release the footage.
MJ was thin, but I don't think he looked frail. I was actually quite surprised at how energetic he was. I'd like to see the whole thing before I make a conclusion about whether he could have gotten through 50 shows. I don't even remember MJ ever doing all his shows on his tours. Didn't he always end up cancelling some for one reason or another? And I'm so annoyed with Kanye today. First of all for being a complete jackass, and second, all people were talking about today was his ridiculousness instead of the best performance of the night. |

I know! Last night should have been about the tribute and the trailer. Or at least that should have been the main story. And Kanye and his bullshit stole the
headlines from everyone, not just Taylor.

Mike worked with throughout the years performing with such energy and passion. Their support & LOVE for Mike and Jan made the performance all the more
powerful and damn awesome!!!! I wish Fatima Robinson could've been there. I thought Jan's moment was pure magic and I hope it helped with her healing
process.

And they probably figure anyone who wants to see it will see it sooner rather than wait. |

According to a fan who has contacts with Sony they are planing to release the DVD for Christmas and in addition to the movie the DVD will include two more
hours of him just performing, while the movie will include both performances and footage of him interacting with the crew, planning the shows, etc. So, the DVD
will have extras. Of course this is not yet officially confirmed.
According to this fan, Sony is also planning on releasing a new single to promote the soundtrack. |

Madonna's speech was awesome. It was one of my favourites through all these tributes. Some others in the past made it look like they had been friends in years but that's not true. Madonna was honest and real. It was well done. |
