I was just watching an interview with the cast and apparently, the actress who plays Mercedes auditioned on American Idol and the judges gave her a quick no.

Love the show, Mercedes rules!!!!!!!! The only thing that bugs me is some of the casting, the scene where Mercedes was watching all the couples kissing..those
actors all looked in their 30's., not believable as teens at all..

So, I finally realized why the choreographer looked so familiar...I think he was "duck lips" on Full House, the one who like Stephanie and she did
not like him at.all.
