I got like 10 weeks, I am hoping 10 pounds at least. I do 30 min cardio every day. 3x a week 30+min of weights. I am now watching the cals to a t, and am
thinking of doing the shread also. I figure if I am not drinking beer and cut out all the cheating meals like mexican and burgers I can do this.

I've currently lost 40 lbs in exactly 4 months. (Still want to lose another 40-60 lbs by February)
Basically doing high intensity cardio 3 days per week for 30-45 mins per session. Along with skipping and hitting the heavy bag at the gym. (This is a GREAT form of cardio...fun too!!) Doing H.I.I.T. (High Intensity Interval Training) is a great way to burn fat fast. Walk/Jog at a light pace (for your fitness level) for 1 min, then "run" for 1 min. and just alternate for 20 mins or so. Doing intense weight training also, featuring multi-joint exercises over single joint exercises. (Squats, deadlifts, bench presses, shoulder presses, lunges etc) Using multi joint (muscle)exercises burns a lot more calories, not only during the actual workout, but the body continues to burn calories afterward for a longer time. Same with high intensity cardio. Also eat 5-6 smaller meals per day (1 every 2.5-3 hours) with portions the size of your fist, making sure you have lean protein every meal, and complex carbs. (NO "WHITE" CARBS such as white bread, white rice, white pasta etc. or refined carbs) Plenty of fruits & vegetables. Healthy fats...almonds, cashews, walnuts, natural peanut butter, salmon is full of healthy fats, and a great source of protein. Plenty of water. I also eliminated all pop/soda from my diet, including diet soda. I also make a homemade iced tea mix of green tea, white tea, oolong tea, and sweeten it with stevia (a natural sweetener) Sorry for going on, but I wanted to be as thorough as I could be. Good luck! I know you CAN and WILL do it! |

I lost 40 pounds in three months a couple of summers ago, doing Atkins and walking on the treadmill for about half an hour a night, and drinking a gallon of
water a day. But I was also doing a lot of other active stuff, always on my feet, so that helped. Cutting out the carbs was amazing.

I've also lost 40 pounds in 4 months (and 4 days)! We should start a club.
I hate diets and I hate exercise so I haven't done anything super drastic. Unfortunately I think I'm kind of hitting a wall so I might have to change my habits a bit. For the most part I no longer eat fast food. But I never say never, if I have a craving for a taco at Taco Bell I'll have it. I can't deprive myself totally because that backfires on me. I stopped drinking diet soda. In general I don't eat sweets, but I do like Fudgesicles or Healthy Choice Fudge Bars if I have a craving. Or 100 calorie packs of cookies. I've found that portion control is my main problem, so I eat a lot of 100 calorie packs or stuff. Wait that sounded wrong. I only eat one at a time! As far as exercise goes, the 30 Day Shred has been my main go to workout. I also like to walk/jog at night for 45 minutes, that's my favorite. I had to cut back when it was really hot outside but I'm getting back into it. Unfortunately I've been doing it every night this week and I haven't lost a bit of weight, so that's a little discouraging. (I know they say not to weigh yourself every day but I can't help it.) |

My freshman year of college, I lost about 15 pounds in 3 months; I went from 160 to 145. Combo of limited calories (nasty food), walking everywhere, lots of
water, and stress.

I was 170 after I had my son. I'm down to 123. It took less than a year. I didn't do anything except chase around 2 boys under ther age of 3, stress
and forgetting to eat.

I once lost 25 pounds in a month (4 years ago). I had broken up with my bofriend, was going to the gym twice a day and was only eating one meal a day (no more
than 500 calories). Everyone in my department was really worried about me, and thought I had an eating disorder (there was a lot of talk).
My boss called me in her office one day, to question me on what the heck was going on. I am known for my curves and J lo/Beyonce butt. I have never been fat, but if I go past a certain weight, it looks horrible on me. |

I lost around 30lbs in three months. Only because I cut out sweet stuff completely and was going to the gym 6 days a week.

KillerGoalie said everything I was gonna say. lol.
I lost 13 pounds in 3 months, but I intentionally did it really slowly because I was ramping up my running quite a bit. On the plus side, my body has totally "reset" at the lower weight, so even when I don't pay attention for several weeks I'm staying at the lower weight. |
