$100/month for a single. If it was family it would be $250/month
I should add that I do have pretty good insurance. I pay either 10/15/20 for prescription drugs and only a $15 copay at the doctors. It's also a PPO, so I don't need any referrals.

750...because my company is trying to force us all into HSAs. It used to be 250...and I paid a smaller premium.
ETA: My premium contribution is 110/mo.

I don't understand how company benefits work. This is all new to me.

I pay $117/month. I feel like it's for nothing because they don't cover anything.

You pay a monthly fee each month via your paychecks in order to keep your insurance. Then you have a deductible you have to meet which is the amount you have
to pay out of your pocket before the insurance kicks in & starts paying for care. Then you have a copay that you have to pay for each of your visits &
meds.
I really think colleges should force people to take a "real life" course. Insurance, taxes, financial plans, etc. |

Are you talking about the deductible for care or are you talking about the cost of the insurance?

I pay about $40/mo and I don't know about my deductible. My co-pay's $35 though.

I have an HMO, so no deductible.
Before that, I had a high-deductible PPO with an HSA. My company matched HSA contributions so it was a pretty good deal. My deductible was $1100. I switched to the HMO because even the high-deductible PPO was more expensive. I liked it better though. |

The deductible is $250 a year. However 99% of the things the kids and I go to the doctor for are not applied to the deductible, it's paid for at 100%
(minus the office copay). So I rarely hit that $100 of the deductible.
I pay about $300 a month for insurance. That is for heath/dental/vision/life. I'm not sure how much it is for just the health portion. That is also for family. If it was just for myself, the health portion would be free and I'd only have to pay for the others. |

I have a HDHP with an HSA . My deductible is $1500 but preventative care is covered 100%, no deductible. My plan is fee. I work for the health insurance
company.

around $1200. And then we still pay a % after the deductible is met. Ugh.

Then you have a copay that you have to pay for each of your visits & meds. There's also co-insurance. Which means that once you hit your deductible, you are responsible for part of the bill. It's usually 10-20%. I have a crappy individual plan. It's $133 a month and I think that my deductible is 2500. |

I have Tricare also. I haven't used it though. None of the doctors around here are covered and there is not a base close enough to use it that way. So
it's a secondary insurance. I have used the United Cordonia (sp?) for the dental though and it has been great to have!
