Mine is always the 3rd. Worst cramps are on my third day EVERY time.

It changes monthly, but it's always either the first or second day depending on what time of day I start. Although my worst cramps are usually *right* when
I start.

Day before and first day of period. I'm completely useless the first day of my period. TMI - I need to be by a toilet at all times on the first day.

First day. I always get really bad cramps and just feel blah.
On the upside, I completely lose my appetite, which somewhat makes up for all the crap I always consume a few days before.

The first 24-36 hours are the worst for me, in terms of cramps, nausea, and breast tenderness. My symptoms are the worst, whereas I'm pretty lucky in terms
of flow. I could take a bottle of meds the first day and it wouldn't lessen the pain at all. I'm a raging ball of hormones until day 2.

Before I started taking BC, it was the first day. I would get cramps so bad that I couldn't even leave my bed except to go to the bathroom.
