The tiny dial at the bottom - what is that? It has even numbers, 2-24, around it. I tried Googling, but "small even number watch dial" didn't
do the trick. 
Please explain this watch to me.

Military hours dial? its going by 2's with little dashes in between for odd numbers...i'm thinking thats what it is...and if it is...damn that would be
handy for my job!

I thought that, but then thought it would be strange to not have the odd numbers, too. That has to be what it is. I can't come up with anything else.

Yep, military time. I've seen watch faces with main dials that look exactly like that.
