I thought the Fray's was so much better-it genuinely confuses me why so many people think otherwise. I guess I just feel like The Fray's lead singer is
a better interpreter.

It has to be the LIVE version for Kris Allen though. They effed it up with violins and crap in the studio.

I agree that the live version is miles better. It's rare to say that a live version of something is better than the studio version nowadays! He killed it,
though.

This reminds me of an interview Kris did where they asked him if Kanye had called him after the Heartless performance. Of course the answer was no.

as much as i love kris version, i still think the fray did such a great job covering heartless. imo you cant really compare both artists, they each did a
fantastic cover.
