I was thinking about getting a treadmill or an elliptical. The gym in my complex is small so I want some type of cardio machine in my place.
What exercise machines do you have in your house?

I'm thinking about getting one of those soon as well! Walking/running outside is becoming hazardous to my health. (Please see the post I made on Sunday
about how I almost had a run in with a skunk. Or the one I made a few months ago when a loose dog was darting around and scared the shit out of me.)
It would help if I tried an elliptical first, though. |

I have a treadmill and a stationary bike at my parents' house. They have weights and stuff like that in the same room.

I have a treadmill and I took a bike and put it on a stand to turn it into a stationary bike.

Treadmill, stationary bike, a resistance training machine, weights...and I like all of it for the most part. I don't use the bike much though.

I really want to own a treadmill, but I just don't have the space for it. It would have to double as a couch
My sister has an elliptical in her garage and it's great. It's gym-quality, though, and not flimsy like a lot of the ones sold in stores. |

So if you had to get one, would you get a treadmill or an elliptical? I can't get both.

I think I will get one because I have no motivation to work out during the winter since I stay inside mostly during that season.
And I quit my gym membership since I just bought a house and need to cut unnecessary spending. |

I have a pedal thing. You can just pedal until you get tired of it. You adjust the tightness with a screw and sit in a chair on or the couch or wherever you
want.
I really want to get an exercise bike though. |

recubment bike (sp?), treadmill, stair stepper, free wights

I don't think it counts as a machine but I have a pull up bar and the p90x dvd's. I don't have much space to have big equiptment.

Tredmill, I like it because I prefer popping a movie in or watching sports while running and it makes time go faster. However, I wish I had an elliptical
because my knees and ankles aren't great.
Edit: Forgot we have a bowflex type thing and a standing pull up/cruch type thing (forgot because I don't use them...lol)

I don't like ellipticals very much. I never notice results when I use one regularly like I do with a treadmill. They are much quieter though.

I'm not a fan of the treadmill, but we have a couple. I have an elliptical and it's so fun to do while watching tv. I have a row machine and it is
FANTASTIC but I'm too lazy to go on as often as I should. Hmm.. I don't think we have anything else.. My dad took the bowflex and put it in his
training studio.
