I get a flu shot every year. I often work with children so I don't want to give anything to them, and I don't want to get anything they have.

I already received my flu shot. I have to since I work in healthcare, I'm asthmatic, and I have diet controled diabetes. This is going to be a long flu
season. Usually I wait until late October or November to get my shot so it lasts throughout the flu season. This year since I'm working with children more
frequently, I decided to get the vaccine early. When the H1N1 vaccine is available, I will decline that. I don't trust it what so ever, especially since
they rushed it market as fast as they are.

Most likely. It's free for students and since I interact with a lot of people daily, better safe than sorry.

I haven't gotten the flu shot in a few years but I will this year. My immune system has been down for a full year now ... it would be stupid of me not to.
I can't remember if it's free here ... if it isn't, it's like, less than $10.

I get a shot every year regardless if there is an epidemic or not.

Diet controled Diabetes is in reference to people who are pre-diabetic. Most people with this metabolic disorder are what used to be considered borderline
diabetic.
Signs and symptoms are :

Always do when it's allowed. There was a couple years where I couldn't because I wasn't at risk. School's giving them out for free though, so
I'll be there.
Totally not getting swine flu shot. Not at risk AT ALL. Most of us on this board aren't unless you're in health care, and they're not going to be giving it away willy nilly since there's not going to be a lot available. I'd rather someone who's immuno- compromised have that protection than me. |

I get a flu shot for free at work every year. I take advantage of it. Last year both my ex and daughter got the flu but I didn't. I will continue to get
the flu shot each year.
