The good news is that committing fraud and getting a criminal record for writing bad cheques will get you free room and board in prison so you won't have
to worry about rent. You are a total idiot if you even attempt that. You will seriously fuck up your record for the rest of your life.

Have you looked into any social service/charities in your area? I know here, because of the fact that so many people have been laid off, a few new assitance
offices have opened up - even some to help with rent. I know a lot of them are backlogged but t's worth a shot.

You'll have to cover the overdraft/fees. For that amount the bank can choose to alert you to Chex Systems, and that will wind up on your credit history for
about seven years. Not to mention they will pretty much close your account and you won't be allowed to bank with them again.

I cashed a bad check once by accident. I got the cash and then about 2-3 weeks later had the money taken out of my account b/c it bounced

I don't understand a person being able to identify why they can't get a job but putting no effort into correcting that problem.

My roommate's police boyfriend arrested a woman for writing hot checks a couple of weeks ago. She had an expensive Iphone on her at the time and a lot of
jewelry.
He asked her why she wrote hot checks if she had money. The ditz said "I didn't think I would get caught". |

Yeah, I don't have any advice to offer you other than what was already said, so good luck is all I can say.

Just an FYI- at the bank I work at, when people do that, they put a note on your account about it, so it could definitely affect your future with that bank and
others if you wanted to get accounts or loans in the future.

Your rent is $900?!?! How big is your apartment? Considering you don't have a job and haven't had one in awhile and apparently won't be getting one
in the near future maybe you should start looking for a cheaper apartment or a roommate. If you somehow get out the current situation that you're in
won't you just be going through the same thing a month from now?

But I know for sure you have to have some sort of income to get a short-term loan at those cash checking places. |

Geez, it's a lot of questions in here.
Let me see if I can answer some of the question. Have no friends or family to crash on their couch. My rent is so high because I live in Los Angeles County. Even in Compton rent is high. If I try to get a roommate I still would need money to pay rent. I have nothing coming in so I can't even pay half the rent and yes I applied for fast food and retail and nothing. Burger King want even hire you if you can't get through an interview. Thanks for all the good lucks and advise you guys. Hope I didn't forget any questions.
