As a cat owner, all I can say is if a cat has a collar there's (as far as I know) no law against them being outdoors, assuming all their shots are up to
date. I had an outdoor cat before, and there is no way in hell I could stop him from climbing up trees, jumping on people's decks, sleeping on their
cars... unfortunately there's no way to control a cat when it's outside. I understand your frustration and I'm sorry, cuz I know I'd be pissed
if it were reversed, but unless the owners stop the cats from going out (which, once they've already been out is quite hard to do), I doubt there's
much that can be done

I clean cat crap from either my front or backyard on a daily basis.

go to petco and get the cat repellent, however it's a powder and is only effective for a day before it blows away

Outdoor cats have every right to be there as dogs and birds. I agree with others though spray water at it with a squirt bottle. That's how we taught our
cat not to claw furniture.

And how do you know that these cats for sure belong to your neighbours? You can't be 100% sure that all the poop on your lawn belongs to your neighbours
cats.

My neighbor's cats are the only outdoor ones on the block. People have stopped talking to the owners because of the cats. One guy on my street wants to
poison them

I find it hard to believe you are picking up shit every day in both yards. We have our own outside cat and at least 3 other roaming cats that pass through our
yard plus raccoons, squirrels & opossums and I dont clean shit up out of both yards every day

i don't see squirrels or raccoons but i've definitely seen jackrabbits, and the occasional coyote or javelina in my neighborhood! good luck getting
them to pay attention to a squirt bottle.

What are your rights? To not have any outdoor animals come in contact with your yard and/or your outdoor belongings?
