I'm still really pissed about her being in this ep. They could have made up a celeb.
I finally got to watch last night's ep, and I'm not sure how I feel about it. I think I knew too much about it to be shocked or surprised by anything, but I've never been a fan of future eps. Acting was great, writing was great...but eh. I don't know. |

We are so out of sync this season, Kira. That's how I felt about last week but I loved this week.
As far as a hug, I don't know, man. I think it played out well...like it would've been cool if they hugged but there's still this insane amount of awkwardness going on between them. Dean's convinced that they have to be together now, for sure, BUT he's still battling the feelings he had that led him to be such a dick about how they should be apart anyways. And Sam had no idea what was going on for Dean to have changed his mind, yet. He's just playing by Dean's lead. |

Just watched this episode and here's my recap:
1. Double Dean, double the hotness 
2. Jared TOTALLY nailed the evil!Sammy. He was awesome as Lucifer. His smiles were awesomely Nick sometimes 
3. Cas was greaaaat! But I agree with Dean, DON'T CHANGE! 
4. I wanted a hug too, but that would be too... fake? 'Cause Dean called Sam because of what would happen in the future and not the past and present and how Sammy was trying to redeem himself. So I'll give them time. I wanted a comment about Sam driving a chevy though  (it was a chevy, right?)

I know the hug would have felt too forced because weeks away from each other don't = trusting each other again but STILL
 It would have been nice. But I hope it happens sometime when everything REALLY
gets sorted.

You know what I hope we'll get but we probably won't? I would love to see when Dean tells Sam about what he saw. Like I feel like if they'd done that and show them having that talk, then a hug would be more appropriate.

I don't think that's the case. I think he was INSANELY shook at seeing Lucifer inhabit his brother. This is still the same dude that gave his own life
for Sam. He said "We keep each other human" when spoke to Sam. Because if it's really all about saving the world, he would've just decided to
say yes to Michael like the whole thing was intended. He saw where the future was going to go if he says no and he still thinks that him and Sam can do this
without having to trust the angels. I think he thinks that they can fight this and if not, at least they're together cause they're all each other's
got.

But the planet is torched even if he doesn't say yes to Michael, even with the Croatoan thing going on. That's the reason Zachariah sent him back to
see that being so righteous as to think that Michael doesn't have good intentions still has dire consequences and even with what Lucifer!Sam said to him
about no matter what road he takes that he'd still end up there in 5 years, he STILL thinks that saying no is the best thing. Everything points to how if
he chooses not to say no, it's going to be a horrible, horrible world, so I just don't get how it's him being dutiful. Being dutiful would be doing
what is expected/asked of him, and he's certainly not doing that.
I actually think it's quite the opposite. I think it's arrogant and presumptuous just thinking that because he and Sam are the 2 best hunters on earth that they can change everything. I don't know so much if he WANTS to be back on the trail with his brother but I think he knows that he NEEDS to be and I think that kinda kills him. I was kinda surprised that Dean didn't react to Sam being the meatsuit for Lucifer but then again, look, we weren't either. I was more shocked he
is to be Michael's vessel even though there were signs of that, too.

It was Zachariah's imagination of the future Dean saw. We have no idea it he was being truthful or manipulative. . I definitely didn't trust it, and
I'm not sure if we were supposed to. So yes, Dean operating for his greater good, not because he necessarily missed his baby brother
Ultimately, I liked the balance between the brother's last week, and I felt like it was back to being the Dean show again. I loved to watch Jensen work. He never disappoints me. But I like both characters, and last season was so unbalanced, I was hoping to get more balance back this season. But this week was back to the Dean show…and what a pretty show it was!
