I'm going to Bonefish Grill tonight with a group of friends, and I'm wanting to try something new. I really hate fishy-tasting fish, though, so I'm
not sure what to get.

It's not the best. Go for a rockfish or tilapia.

I agree with the Tilapia suggestion. I HATE fish (b/c my mom stuffed it down my throat every Friday growing up!) but I didn't mind the Tilapia the one time
I tried it.
I was also told to try Halibut b/c it's pretty mild. |

Swordfish is a very unique tasting fish. I personally don't like it but some people love it. It usually is like a swordfish steak so it's not like a
regular white fish.

Mahi mahi doesn't have a whole lot of flavor. Same with tilapia. It's decent white fish.

Fish is always fishy tasting at a restaurant IMO. Doesn't matter what it is

Neither taste fishy. They're both really thick. And theyre both gross.

I don't care for mahi mahi but mainly because it's normally served grilled.
If you can, try grouper, flounder, snapper or some kind of trout (sand, rainbow or speckled). They're all very good fish with a light taste. Grouper is my favorite kind of fish and tastes almost like chicken with the texture of fish if you get it at a good restaurant. |

Fishy tasting fish are only fishy tasting because the fish you're eating isn't fresh.
