You should get the book Taking Charge of Your Fertility. http://www.ovusoft.com/
A blood test performed by your dr can pick up hCG in your blood about a week after you ovulated/a week before your period is due if you are in fact pregnant. GL! |

so should I wait another week to see if I get my period or should I go ahead and call my doc now?
Would a at-home test pick up anythign? |

Go out and buy a 3-pack of pregnancy tests and call it a day. Yowza.

I've never seen a package because I haven't had a reason to before now. And I never really pay attention to the commercials.
This is why I'm so naive about it. |

At home tests are sometimes able to pick up the HCG a few days before your period is due. So if you're a week overdue now for it, then yes, it would be
able to pick it up. Get a First Response test and if it's positive, call your doctor.

Just take a test and if it's negative and you don't have your period in a few more days take another test.

I don't care if you don't watch commercials. If you've been near a TV in the last oh 20 years you should have seen a pregnancy test commercial and
know how these work.
Wow. |

I don't get that you're trying to get pregnant but haven't done any research on pregnancy tests. I can see how you might not have seen the
commercials.
