I think both of them should suck it up and be civil for the night. I don't know how much time Jon gets out of the year to see the kids but 2 hours is definitely not enough to see all 8 kids and be able to celebrate a birthday for 2 of them. I think Jon should've kept quiet about the email but it did sound polite.

Seriously though, if my soon to be ex-spouse were to block me out of my kids birthday party or control everything about my time with them, I think I'd be miffed as well. If she is attempting to violate it then go through the proper channels to get the time with your kids.. don't go to TMZ. However, I do think that maybe right now isn't the time to have a joint party. Yeah, it would be great if everyone could suck it up and put the kids first but it doesn't seem like they can..and celebrating separately until things get settled might be better than having the kids around two parents who are hostile towards each other. The kids have been through enough.

They both should be re-evaluating themselves, their goals and futures - if any - of what they wish to do and stop running to the media circle whenever something happens. It's just stupid.

You haven't????? What??? She has been doing tons of interviews full of how much Jon sucks and how hard it is now that she is a "single mom" raising the kids "by herself". I think JJB chooses to ignore those interviews because it is easier to demonize Jon when the other party is deemed better. In reality, they both suck.

And this just added to it. I've only heard her say she doesn't agree with his decisions nothing horrible. She is too smart for that.

I've barely been paying attention, but Kate's been crying to the Today Show, the View, and Larry King Live. There are others I'm sure, but like I said, I haven't been keeping up.
