So I know this may sound horrible, but I am trying to find a way to get out of a bad situation with some bad roomates. I am willing to bail on them, and
that's actually what I intend to do. I won't get into a lot of detail, but these are two guys that I got screwed over into having to live with (old
roomates ditched and these guys took their places). From one who actually hears voices, to one who has extreme social problems, to throwing away my stuff, to
dumping my food on the floor, to eating my food, to laying on my bed, to never buying any of the things you buy for the home, etc. Long story short, there is
no way I will ever be able to find anyone to live with them. Our lease just ended last month, and now we are going to a month to month. That is a whole new
paper I have to sign. And, if I can get them to sign it, and not me, and if I'm the one to turn it in, couldn't I leave at any time and not be hunted
down with any legal repercussions?

If it ended last month, and you're going month to month - can't you just leave now? I mean, your lease is over. You have no obligations.
