Good ideas, namesfreak! They went down on the index card.
And omg, yes. How do people live without those corn holder things? |

RedLampDistrict wrote: OMG I love those. And yes, the dollar store is your friend. Instead of sponges, what about one of those sponge wand things where you put the dishsoap in the detergent and then you have a handle for your scrubber and you don't hafta constantly be putting soap on the sponge nor touch the sponge (I dislike the smell of sponges, so I don't like when that smell gets on my hand). |

Baby wipes. You can a huge ass tub of them for like $1.50 at Wal-Mart. They're perfect to clean up little things when you're in a rush. Also I suggest
making sure you have: Scrubbing Bubbles Plunger Febreze Vaccuum Mop and Broom Tupperware Storage Containers (for food storage, bigger ones for organization,
etc) Paper towels It's always the little things that add up and it'll take a while to accumulate all that your friend needs.

BBB has some cute coasters. And extra extension cords are handy.

Wooden spoons. You can never have enough of those.
I'm not sure what' they're called but they're little pads you put hot stuff on. They make them out of cork and then they make them out of other stuff. I prefer the other stuff. More decorative. Those aren't that expensive usually. You can totally find brooms and dustpans at the dollar store too.... although I'm not sure how you can mail a broom. A silverware drawer organizer. People never think of those. Febreeze Air Effects. Seriously. Candle Warmer Candles for that matter Place mats. I never eat at my table but they're there! Salt & Pepper shakers Plastic bowls & cups and plates if you want. The dollar store/99 cent store is your friend in that area. And if no one gave her one, one of those indoor grills like a George Foreman grill. Mine's a hamilton beach but it works just the same and I love it! And that's all I got for this late at night. |

I don't know if you can ship them, but I would always forget to get light bulbs. I finally bought several to have on hand so I wouldn't be in the dark
as soon as one went out.
