I don't believe they get paid that much. There is no way. Matthew Fox didn't make that much at the start of Lost and that was when he had experience.
He started off with a salary somewhere between $20,000 and $40,000 which is a standard salary for a prime time show. Wasn't it also reported that Chace
Crawford recently that Chace makes $45.000 an episode for Gossip Girl? Yeah. I don't believe The Hills cast in making more than the GG cast per episode.
Even if The Hills has been on longer.

Don't blame it on them. Blame it on the viewers who obviously find these losers fascinating. I mean they are getting endorsement deals and magazine covers
- someone must like them and is watching the show.
