My mom purchased a window seat on a flight somewhere. There were three seats together then the aisle. So she went to her seat and there was a woman in the
middle seat, her 10 year old kid in the seat to the right, and her 1 year old kid in my mom's seat. My mom said to her, "Excuse me... this is my
seat." The woman had the audacity to say in front of everyone, "Seats 14 A and 16 B are open. You wouldn't want to separate a mother and her
child would you?" My mom said, "No but this is my seat and I paid for this seat." And the woman just repeated the empty single seats. She
clearly had walked around before to find out the empty seats.
Basically the woman didn't want to purchase an extra seat for her small child and was supposed to hold him in her lap but was putting him in my mom's paid seat. So my mom ended up going to one of those extra empty seats and sat there. Then right before the plane was about to take off, an obese woman came and sat next to my mom since she had purchased the seat next to the one she was seated in. So my mom had to sit next to this obese smelly woman.
Anyway, do you think it is the mother's right to send a passenger away to another seat? I think what she did was so wrong.
