^It's really no different though. If you have someplace to be, you shouldn't get fucked up the night before.

You can be responsible and go out and party. What a stupid stereotype... |

I'm 19 and while I personally don't enjoy drinking or doing any type of drug, I have friends that do and they don't do it to be cool or whatever.
They consider it a way to have a good time. As long as they're still responsible and not harming themselves/others, I don't see a problem or see it as
"sad".

People like you annoy me. Maybe you should get off your high horse, remove that stick from your ass and go take a good hardy shot of jose cuervo or something.
douche.
Look at me, I drank a pint of beer OH NO! I couldn't possibly be a responsible individual. I must be a low life loser with no ambitions and no education. Oh wait what's that on my wall? a UNIVERSITY DEGREE. Guess your stupid , judgemental, immature stereotype is false. |

This view will always be one of my faves that people rant about on JJB. "Alcohol is the debil's brew and weed is the gateway to hell. All who partake
of such are lazy, non contributing members of society who have no sense of responsibility."
Just because YOU don't like alcohol (and/or weed), or may have had a bad experience with someone who abused the substances, does not mean all who like to get drunk or high from time to time are low lives. In fact, people like you would probably shit your pullups if you knew how many respectable, successful individuals, even great parents, get drunk and or high from time to time: all the while never shirking their responsibities. Like someone else said: remove the stick, take a shot, and actually open your eyes to see that your sweeping judgement isn't true. |

It's a personal decision. I'm pretty cautious with myself but I love going out and loosening up a bit to relax, nothing too crazy. As for people that
DO get crazy, I love seeing people have fun in their own way so I soak it in and laugh at the pictures the next morning when I am around them.

I find it sad when my lab partner comes into our 8am class smelling like vodka/puke, and is still slurring her words.
That behavior is unacceptable. I at least shower when I do that. |

People worry about what other people are doing too much. If you are still keeping up your grades, or keeping your job, I dont give a shit what u do. I'm
not a partier at all, I'm such a homebody, but if you are having fun and not hurting anyone else, go for it.

I think the people who did that & boasted about it on facebook or in class were really sad. You know the "oh I got so shitfaced" people. That is
sad. Not just drinking in general.
